What should I expect after my booking?
You will receive reminders for any payments that may be due, and when it gets closer to your check in date you will receive an email about your check in procedures, directions, etc. Please make sure you provide a valid email address during the booking process so that you will receive all this important information. There will be a refundable security deposit of $500 to cover any non-accidental damages or costs. This is done as a "HOLD" on the credit card and is initiated 2 days before your arrival. It is released after your departure and our team's inspection.
What is a Security Deposit Hold?
If no damages or fees are reported from your stay then this pending transaction (hold) will be released 3 days after your departure, meaning it will not be charged. If you do have any damages or fees, then your credit card will be charged up to the full amount of $500 depending on the cost of damages or fees. The credit card you booked with will be the card that the hold will be placed against. If the hold fails when processed then you will be asked to provide an updated credit card to process against. The door code will not be released to check in with until the security deposit hold is processed. Again, this will not be charged to your credit card unless there are damages or fees found after departure.
When is payment due?
Fifty percent (50%) of the booking total is due when booking is made and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check in date. If check in date is within 14 days of booking, the entire amount will be due at time of booking. We accept all major credit cards.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 30 days or more prior to arrival will receive a 97% refund. Guests receives 50% if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice are not refundable. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect your investment. We do NOT offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. NO REFUNDS WITH LESS THAN 7 DAY’S NOTICE.
Can I check in-early? check-out late?
Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 11:00 AM. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we do not offer early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your cabin is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay. We do not allow check-ins or check-outs on holidays.
What is included?
All linens to include bedding and bath towels. We also have towels for the hot tub. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We have a Keurig coffee maker with a variety of K-cups and creamers but please feel free to bring your own favorite flavors if you are staying more than 3 days.
Is there a grill?
There is a propane grill with grill brush and utensils.
Does the cabin have cable and WiFi?
We have the fastest WiFi connection available for the area that is free for our guests. You will receive an email prior to check in with WiFi name and password. There are 5 TV's, one in the family room, outdoor back deck, and each bedroom. You can stream your own Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.
Does the cabin have cell service?
Please remember that we area located in a rural and heavily wooded area. High speed internet is available at the property, however, cellular and data service may be limited and spotty in the surrounding area.
How do you access cabin?
As your trip approaches, we will reach out to you with the address and a unique door code for you to use during your stay. This email will also have helpful information such as our contact information should you need anything during your stay, directions to the cabin, etc. Please make sure you provide a valid email address during booking so you are able to receive all this informative information. Google Maps and GPS will not take you directly to the cabin. Please be sure to use our step-by-step directions to avoid getting lost.
How many cars does the driveway accommodate?
The driveway is gravel and accommodates up to 6 vehicles. There is also room for a boat.
Are there cameras?
There are 2 exterior security cameras that are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras do not actively record video or sound while guests are in residence. Camera 1 is facing the front entrance, driveway and road. There is also a camera on the back deck pointed towards the wooded lot.
Are pets allowed?
We are dog friendly with $150 pet fee. Maximum of 2 well behaved dogs, up to 50lbs. No puppies. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be deducted from the security deposit.
Are there critters and wild animals?
We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds, but remember, you are in the woods so it is not uncommon to see insects, critters and other wildlife.

We visited Broken Bow a few years ago with friends and LOVED it so much that we made it a goal to one day have our very own place here.
